You will need: Paper, pens and a stopwatch/timer.
- Gather a group of friends, family or siblings together.
- Hand a piece of paper and a pen to each person.
- Draw seven columns on your paper ( see photo for example)
- At the top of each individual column write categories, for example, boy’s name, girl’s name, food/drink, country, tv show and animal.
- You can choose your own theme or categories.
- Take it in turns to choose a letter from the alphabet.
- Put a 60 second timer on and everyone has to think of something that begins with the chosen letter to match each category in 60 seconds. For example, if someone chooses the letter A – Adam, Anna, apple, Antigua, A-Team and antelope.
- Shout STOP THE BUS! When the 60 seconds is up, and repeat step 5 and 6 until your columns are full.
- Each answer with the correct letter earns 10 points. If the same answer is given by two or more participants, they each earn five points.
- Write your earned points in column seven. The person with the most points at the end of the game is the winner!
