What makes our venue so special?

Cornwallis has a cosy feeling Swiss cottage style log cabin building, with high ceilings and a natural wooden feel throughout. Situated at the side of Cornwallis Square Park and a short walk from Holloway Road, the venue is self-contained with a 3G style pitch to the front and adventure playground to the rear. The building hosts one square-shaped hall and large kitchen. Outside we have a floodlit sports pitch that can be used for group games and multisports.

Cornwallis Adventure Playground is an ideal venue to hold your event, whether it’s a training day, band practice, holding a community meeting,  workshop, running a fitness class or children’s party.

Accessibility

Cornwallis welcomes guide dogs at the venue and we have a number of portable induction loops that can be transferred between spaces. The inside of the building is all on one level and can be accessed via steps or a ramp. There is no car park on site, but there is parking available on the main road with restricted hours. For further information on venue accessibility please get in touch.

Spaces, capacity and pricing

  • Council departments, charities and community groups receive 10% discount.
  • Block bookings of six or more hires are eligible for an additional 10% discount.
  • Bookings are for a minimum of two hours.
