What to expect from this course
In this comprehensive 12-hour Full Paediatric First Aid course, tailored for Childminders, Nursery and School staff, and anyone interacting with children, you can expect to gain in-depth knowledge and practical skills aligned with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and approved by local authorities and Ofsted. Throughout the two-day course, participants will learn essential emergency response techniques, including assessing situations, aiding unresponsive children, handling seizures, choking incidents, bleeding, burns, fractures, and more. Understanding the roles and responsibilities of a paediatric first aider will also be emphasized, alongside practical demonstrations and assessments. Upon successful completion, participants will receive certification valid for three years, ensuring they’re well-prepared to handle any pediatric emergency with confidence and competence.
